Men of solution is an organization within the Church. The purpose of the Men of solution is to deepen the spiritual life of the layman of the Church, to cultivate denominational loyalty and to expand the denomination through education and personal evangelism.

The Men of solution educates Apostolic men in their mission, privilege, and responsibility, giving insights into specific areas of service through the Local Church to their Community, State, Nation, and the World. Men of solution seeks to achieve the following.

  • To serve as a partner and support base for the attainment of the vision and mission of the church.
  • To create a consciousness among men in the church to their leadership responsibilities in the church, families, and society at large.
  • Promote a culture of responsible leadership with spiritual emphasis.
  • To help members grow and mature spiritually and professionally through capacity building programs based on sound biblical teachings and doctrines.
  • To forge relationships with men fellowships in TACA sister churches to facilitate networking and professional opportunities.
  • To serve as an evangelism vehicle for winning souls to the church through periodic outreach, social interactive and recreational activities.
  • Promote the welfare and health of men in the church.
  • Enrich the spiritual and family life of members through retreats and family bonding programs.
  • Provide a platform for fundraising in support of development projects to be carried out by the church.
  • To unearth talents and provide an avenue for men in the church to engage in ministry work in line with the church’s mission of raising leaders, shaping vision, and influencing society.

The Women of solution is an organization within the Church that seeks to deepen spiritual life in the women members of the Church, by meeting together for prayer and fellowship, to enter into intercession on behalf of the Divine purpose, and to work generally among women under the direction of the leaders.

They cooperate with the local administration of the Church, Elders, Pastors and Apostles, in visitation and other avenues of service particularly adapted to womanhood.

Women of solution is the Women’s Ministry which provides ministry to all women in the Church through its programs. Women of solution seeks to achieve the following.

  • Help women see and accept themselves as the creation of God and raise their confidence to function as a vessel in God’s hands.
  • Provides avenues and motivate women to engage in various services in line with the church’s vision.
  • Prepares every woman in TACA to maximize her potential and fulfill her role in life and impact her generation.

Acts 1:8

8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

The Apostolic witness movement is organized for the purpose of soul winning. Witness movement has for its object the general interest and advancement of the spiritual life of all adults in the Church. Its function is to initiate and establish a band of spirit-filled members and to train and develop the young adults in personal witnessing for Christ.

Before the resurrected Jesus ascended to heaven, He gave believers one commandment: to go and preach the gospel. This was His commission to His Church, which means it includes all of us who have been redeemed and born again. 

Each one of us has been commissioned by the Lord to proclaim the good news of His salvation. The Lord Jesus commanded us to go forth with His precious gospel to all the creation, meaning everywhere, and to all the nations, meaning all people of every race.

So, we must proclaim the gospel because our Lord, the One who died for us and rose from the dead, commanded us to do so. He has given us the responsibility to preach the gospel to sinners all around us, and even to the whole earth.

The motto for the Witness Movement is, “God First”.

The Apostolic Youth movement is an organization within the Church, which has for its object the general interest and advancement of the spiritual life of all young people in the Church. Its function is to initiate and establish a band of spirit-filled members in every assembly, and to train and develop the young people in personal relationship with Jesus Christ and witnessing for Christ.

 

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6) "...Bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord..." (Ephesians 6:4)

The purpose of the Children’s Ministry is to win children for Christ and train them for responsible positions in the church and society through impartation into them of sound scriptural tenets.

TACA Children's Ministry is committed to helping and supporting parents in the spiritual formation of their children, using a Christ and bible-centered approach. TACA believes that it is the primary responsibility of parents to ensure, not only the physical and emotional well-being of their children, but also their spiritual health and development. A healthy reverence for God and the things of God, go a long way in defining and determining a child's character, the kinds of choices and decisions that he or she makes, and ultimately who that child becomes, as a result of these choices and decisions. TACA Children's Ministry does not attempt to usurp the responsibilities of parents in the ‘raising’ of their kids; it simply aids parents in re-enforcing those lessons and disciplines that, hopefully, they are already teaching and inculcating in their children. Below are the specific goals of TACA Children’s Ministry.

 

It is our goal:

  • To encourage our children to learn in an age-appropriate setting, with a curriculum designed to educate them in the things of God.
  • To lay a solid Christ-centered foundation in our children’s lives, one that will stand the test of time and sustain their faith into adulthood.
  • To teach our children God’s Word, so they will grow to think the way God thinks and live the way His Word commands.
  • To inculcate godly habits and lifestyles in our children that will be manifested in their daily walk, whether at home, school, on the playground or in church.
  • To help our children develop an appreciable understanding and respect for the principle of authority and authority figures.
  • To make each child’s experience at church fun, safe, and beneficial as they grow in Christ-likeness.
  • To allow parents and other adults have a great worship experience at church, devoid of interruptions.

"My house shall be called a house of prayer unto all nations." (Mark 11:17) "Men always ought to pray and not to faint." (Luke 18:1)

The place and significance of prayer in the God's business cannot be over-emphasized. Prayer is the foundation of any spiritual enterprise. Through Prayer, we can tap into the supernatural power of God. Prayer is the key that opens the iron gates; it is the Christian’s primary source of strength; it is the weapon that never ceases to expose, halt, or neutralize Satan's diabolic devices and schemes. Through prayer, countless miracles have occurred (and still do occur): the sick have been healed, the oppressed have been set free, acts of divine providence have been manifested, wombs condemned and medically labeled as barren, have become fruitful and borne children. Through Prayer, incorrigible lives have been supernaturally and miraculously transformed.

The Apostolic Church Sunday school is an organization within the Church, which has for its object the general interest and advancement of the spiritual life of all people and ages in the Church. Its function is to initiate and establish a band of spirit-filled members in every assembly, and to teach, train and develop members in personal relationship with Jesus Christ and witnessing for Christ.

Sunday school benefits includes the following:

  • Sunday school provides a structure for teaching God’s Word. Preaching isn’t enough. A systematic teaching of the Scriptures – not just preaching (Acts 5:42) needs to occur through all age levels. Children, youth, and adults need opportunities for discovery, review, and interaction as they study God’s principles. Sunday school meets needs!
  • Sunday school gears Bible teaching to a specific age group (Deut. 31:12). It means a wiggly four-year-old can discover great biblical truth by acting out a Bible story, completing dot-to-dot pictures, singing fun songs, and obeying parents.
  • Sunday school mobilizes and trains laity for leadership. It’s difficult to say who benefits more, the teacher or the student. The teacher’s Bible knowledge and care grows… his or her life is changed… a stretching occurs as leadership skills are developed. Students learn and are challenged.
  • The Sunday school is discipleship, every teacher must have a desire to see each student in his/her class have a spiritual life change. Since discipleship is “teaching to obey all, I have commanded you” (Matt. 28:20), it’s not merely teaching facts, but teaching obedience. While there are many styles of discipleship (one-on-one, small group, etc.) Sunday school is the group discipleship that is entry-level.  From Sunday schools can develop small cell groups – discipleship. Since many people who attend church are not in a one-on-one or small group discipleship, an effective Sunday school is a form of “Discipleship.”
  • Sunday school organizes the church into caring groups. The teacher becomes a shepherd for the class, an extension of the pastor’s ministry. Where the pastor finds it impossible to know all the needs of the congregation, Sunday school teachers know when someone is absent or hurting and can express love personally.
  • Sunday school leads the church in prayer and relationships. From the preschool class through all the adult classes, prayer is directed toward the specific needs of the class members. Often the class not only prays but has an opportunity to respond to specific needs. Fellowship and informal conversations flow easily in small groups where care is expressed, and people know your name and your needs.

The Apostolic Church choir and Music Ministry is a vibrant ministry incorporating voice, organ, hand bells, and a variety of other instruments as worshipers are led into the presence of God through the gift of music and worship. Praise Teams provide music leadership in our contemporary services while Choir presents the Gospel through music in traditional worship setting.

The Mission of the choir and Music Ministry is to please God through our lifestyle and by providing praise, worship, and music that brings others to Christ, glorify God, edifies members and the community.

God calls us not only to BELIEVE, but also to BELONG - belong to a local church, with a God-ordained pastor in place, to provide spiritual direction, a covering as well as nourishment to us (Hebrews 10:23-25, Jeremiah 3:15). The biblical demand upon the Christian to ‘belong’ and be planted in a local church, brings into focus the issue of Church Membership. The call to belong, it must be understood, is not meant to deprive a Christian of his or her freedom and personal rights; it is not an invasion of privacy, but rather God’s divine way of transforming and reshaping you, the believer, into the vessel you were born to be: Your spiritual maturity or growth, and the transformation of your character, will not occur in isolation, but in consistent fellowship with other believers, and in an atmosphere of Accountability. Accountability is impossible without Commitment. Your commitment to membership in a local church is absolutely necessary, therefore, if you are to fulfill your God-given destiny in Christ Jesus TACA Membership Course/Class sets the tone and expectation level for everything in the church. Benefits of Membership, as well as Expectations on Members, are very clearly outlined and explained during the course.

WHAT DOES TACA MEMBERSHIP ENTAIL:

  • True Godly Repentance and a personal acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
  • Membership/Orientation Classes.
  • A signed commitment to a Word-based Membership Covenant.
  • A commitment to baptism by immersion as a public expression of one’s faith.
  • Awarding of official membership certificates to participants who successfully complete the membership classes and meet all other requirements for membership.
